Sculpture- Friendship
Description:
This sculpture shows Saffy and Sarah holding hands. This can be seen when Sarah lend her hand to help Saffy to head back her home at Siena. Both of them have a special friendship and the friendships between them are beneficial in both directions.
The girls happily ignore each other's disadvantages (Saffy's poverty and Sarah's immobility) The colourful freindship locket represent their strong friendship bond that binds them together. The star represent angel and in this case Sarah is helping Saffy to find her stone angel. There is a shadow that casts upon them that shapes like a heart otherwise their true bonding.
This one is the back view...love the heart and the star, curtesy of si ying's mum,she helped us sew the two shapes
this is the top view of our sculpture...i don't know if its really considered a sculpture but...its full of our effort so i guess it should be ok,haha!
this is the front view of our sculpture...looks really cool but the things at the back can't be seen...but the back view'll cover it:D
